Shot Taking and Plan

I am the most dedicated person I know to get better at poker.  I know realize how much I do not know about the game I love.  In the year since I dedicated myself getting better my game has grown by leaps and bounds. I think about the game in a much different light.  I feel I have outgrown the micro-stakes and it’s time to take a few shots at bigger tournaments.  My bankroll sits at $500 from $25 in mid-January.  I am confident that I can beat the $11 tournaments and I am going to take a couple shots at $22+ buy ins.

With a small bankroll I know my bankroll isn’t big enough to play those, however If 2 or 3 do not go well I will drop back to the $11 and even the $5.50 ones of need be. I am also not trying to live on what I make playing poker so taking shots isn’t a big deal.

Recap of March 4th play…

·         1- $5.50 27 man SNG.  Ran QQ into KK

·         2- $11 27 man SNG. 1st hand on one set of 4s vs set of 6’s, the other missed a draw huge draw and was short

·         1- $16.50 triple up- out 6th couldn’t get anything going…. I won’t be playing these I didn’t really enjoy it.

Plan for tonight is to study not going to be playing.
